Goodbye 2016

2016 was an interesting year. There was a lot of change, some good; some surprising (is Donald Trump really the President of the United States?). Overall, it was a good year – a quiet year. Not too much travel, not too much adventure, but like always, a lot of fun. For the first time in my life I trained for and ran two 10K races, I tried my first ever oyster (is that considered an accomplishment?) and I joined a Board of Directors for a non-profit organization. Believe it or not, not one of these ‘firsts’ has been any less exciting or challenging than the last! More than anything, this year has been a continuous and steep learning curve. I moved cities, I moved homes, and I changed jobs. I’ve grown and learned so much about myself and how I plan to make my mark on this world. Like all yogis’ say—life is not about the destination, it’s about the journey. I’m really starting to believe it.

So, what are my goals for 2017? In all honesty, I’m not sure. For once in my life I’m not setting any concrete life goals. Maybe I’ll buy a home, maybe I won’t. Maybe I’ll take a trip across the world, maybe I won’t. The one goal I do have is to write more often. So hopefully you will continue to join me on my journey through 2017.

Wishing you all love, happiness and most importantly, good health for 2017.

In Good Health,
